3 new cards- Autumn, B&W classy, & Vintage - could they be any different?!

This card is my submission for the Verve MOJO Monday, MOJO205. It also qualifies for C4C101, a Flourishes bingo challenge, using embossing (on the nestabilities circle,) ribbon, and diecuts. I broke out my new CTMH stamp set and paper packet. I don't sew, so the edges are faux sewn with a paper piercer and white gel pen.
I paper pieced the chair, and used 2 different fiskars edgers to follow the sketch. I finished off the card with sponging the nestabilities die cut circle, and added the twine and copper finished charm. The sentiment inside says Chairs to You! TFL!

I need a classy looking card for a classy couple, and their 50th anniversary is this weekend. Her daughters (whom I grew up with) had his clever idea to had a card shower - we are all to shower them with cards so that their mailbox is overflowing with congratulation cards. I LOVE this idea!!!
Anyway, I wanted to keep it black, white, and sparkly - HAD to pull out the Glitter Mat stack again - followed SC347 sketch layout challenge.
Embossed the word sentiment using SU! black craft ink and clear ep. After it dried, I added Smooching spritz for sparkle and texture. Matted each layer with a white mat, and adhered it all using glue dots, since each layer had so much glitter. I love how it has impact, but was easy peasy to do. TFL!

One of my favorite sets, French Foliage, and I finally opened it up and mounted it! I was doing WT337, the Thursday Ways to use it challenge, and today's theme was to recycle. I decided to use the raffia bow that was on a pretty old school looking fall tabletop decoration, so I broke it down into components for new and improved fall crafts! I used SU! Eggplant Envy, Dusty Durango, Crumb Cake, Kiwi Kiss and Stazon Mustard inks. SU! Ivory cardstock, and stamped the leaves and spots in a random collage fashion. Used a nestabilities to cut a mat for the sentiment part, added 6 bronze brads, ran the stamped cs through my Big Shot with a sizzex embossing folder. Attached to a Bazzil eggplant cs, and Dusty Durango card base.

Hot Stuff Art Impressions contest AND Come Sail Away...

I've been down and out following a knee surgery -FINALLY got the nerve to try the stairs down to my craft room. I've been missing my left brain creative outlet!!
My first card is one of 2 that I have to submit for the Art Impressions' Aug. contest with the theme...It's Hot! I tried to choose an AI stamp that no one else would think of - most everyone has been submitting beach scenes. I thought I'd do more of a play on words. Sure hope they like it and I win some freebee stamps to play with! Woot! Woot! I have another week to complete my 2nd one. There are a lot of elements with this card - more than it looks like. Whadda ya think?
Followed 3 different challenges:
SC346 layout sketch
WT336 - use versamark
Art Impressions Aug. It's Hot! contest

This next card is for MOJO204 - a layout challenge sponsored by Verve, to help you get your MOJO going every Monday. There's always a new, cool sketch - they are very creative with these card layouts.

4 new cards using all kinds of challenges...

I'm trying to follow challenges from different stamp companies, and from SCS - I decided to make some different thank you cards this time. I'm trying to do the challenges to help things stay fresh - it's out of my comfort zone, for sure! Loving some free time for my vice, I mean hobby! LOL!
This was a layout challenge, and ink masking technique challenge. Way out of my comfort zone, and that's why I wanted to try it!

This card goes with a storyline of Tuesday Teapot challenges, and had to include 3 daisies and a bee. I LOVE the cute frog image.

This card follows a different layout challenge, as well as a color challenge. I didn't have all of the right colors, but I love the layout and final product!

The Hambo Hoedown challenge I had to follow for this one was to incorporate a Hambo stamp, and have a gatefold type card (one that opens our like a swinging door.) Thanks to my girl, Bev, otherwise known as Beestamper (the lovely and talented!!) for letting me  borrow your stamps for this one. I hope I did it justice!

New set of Girlfriend cards - Beach themed - Funny! Funny!

My friend requested this set of 10 Girlfriend cards for herself, and another friend. This set of humorous beach themed cards is what I came up for her. What a hoot it was to put these together! I pulled out Bugaboo, Art Impressions, Hambo, and Rubbernecker stamps, typed sentiments and names, and all of my bright colors and bling. She also requested 10 different beach themed, personalized cards, to be sold as a set. Then she also encouraged me to set up this blog, where they can be ordered and shipped! Refer to previous posts for pricing of the sets, and shipping info. She then had me do a set of personalized spiritual cards, and they can also be found on my new blog. She’s really keeping me busy, delivering set after set for her to give as personalized gifts! I'm looking to have an online business, and I'm excited! Thanks!
